Imagine how it is

To feel insufficient in all aspects

To be ashamed of being who you are and do the things that make you happy

I am my own counterfeit

Coadjuvant of my own decisions, I neglect who I am

I hid from the world but not from myself

It seems to be easier to hide where no one can see you

But what's the point if you feel like a fraud everytime you look at yourself?

Counterfeit, I'm just trying to be myself

But I can't when I think everyone is better than me

Is life a competition?

'Cause I don't want to be better than anyone

I just want to be better than myself

And have the courage to accept my imperfections

I know I'm not my insecurities

But why does it keep dragging me down?
