"Je blijft vanavond hier en daarmee uit",

roept moeder kwaad. Daar ligt Lia snikkend

op haar bed. Nu zijn ze zo dichtbij en zal

je zien dat zij niet gaat. Dan voelt zij in

haar zak de sleutels van de Mobylette...

Lia rijdt over de Dijk door regen en door

wind. Zo hard ze kan, het is al negen uur.

Ze denkt aan Wilma haar vriendin en hoe

laat de band begint. Een windvlaag, ze

glijdt uit, verliest de macht over het

stuur...

"Je blijft vanavond hier en daarmee uit",

roept Wilma kwaad. Haar zoon rent weg en

zij, zij schudt haar hoofd. Dan hoort ze op

de radio ineens een oude plaat. Over Lia,

van een band waar zij in heeft geloofd.

Ze was helemaal vergeten hoe mooi de zanger

zong. Iedereen wordt oud, maar Lia, (Lea,

Leah) blijft voor altijd jong.
