Midgard ward ihr Lebensheim, welches sie bekamen
sowie ein paar Kleider und einen Namen.
Ask und Embla hieß das Menschenpaar,
was von den Göttern erschaffen ward.
Von jenen beiden stammen die Menschen ab,
welche Odin beobachtet von seinem Hochsitz herab,
