As I drift off, and wake in a new life

All my worries disappear

A world I only see through closed eyes

To block out all my fears

In my dream, I have no flaws

In my dream, I don’t worry at all

'Cause consciousness has never made me happy

In my dream, I’ve found my place

In my dream, there’s warm embrace

Why believe in anything if this is all I want?

You haven’t crossed my mind in a long time

But now you’re all I see

It’s as if every wrong was made right

In my dream, we love one another

In my dream, we’re meant for each other

Everything that I chase after chases right back at me

In my dream I’m not alone

In my dream you come back home

Reality’s a far off place that I don’t wanna know

While my past has long-since died

There’s a ghost in my subconscious mind

That comes out when I lie

But now I’ve spent away the night

So the sun comes up to fill the sky

And I’m all out of time

I feel my dreams collapse away

I feel the burden of the day

And all the colors start to fade

But as I tighten up my grasp

As I beg for this to last

I feel the real world pull me back
