WVNDER formed in Los Angeles in 2015 around vocalist Ethan Hulse, guitarist Jake Scott, bassist Sam Bushnell, and drummer Alex Cook. They released an early EP called 'Broken Seas' and later put out an album titled 'Weeping Willow.'
Hulse's lyrics often dealt with personal themes like depression and addiction, which drew both praise for their honesty and some criticism. The song 'Angry Or Sad' became particularly known for addressing mental health struggles.
